El Salvador and Guatemala

Transfer from Comalapa International Airport to the city of San Salvador, approximately 39 Kms away and 35 minutes drive. Upon arrival at the hotel, a representative of our company will welcome you.

On the second day, after breakfast we will depart to "La Bermuda". La Bermuda is an archaeological site that represents the first settlement of San Salvador, the capital of El Salvador. Then, transfer to the colonial town of "Suchitoto", Nahuat name meaning "Place of Bird and Flower". Enjoy the "Old City" with colonial architecture that characterizes the town of Suchitoto, its cobblestone streets very well preserved, the Santa Lucia Church built in 1853. Boat tour on Suchitlan Lake.

The next day, departure after breakfast to Los Volcanes Complex (75 kms approx.), to admire the beautiful cone of the Izalco Volcano, 1 hour hike through the Cerro Verde and sighting of the Ilamatepec Volcano and Lake Coatepeque.

Then transfer to have lunch in one of the 3 colonial towns to visit: Juayúa, Apaneca and Concepción de Ataco, with lots of handicrafts, paintings and colorful blankets made in old looms, free night accommodation in Hotel. Overnight in San Salvador.

On the fourth day, after breakfast, transfer to Antigua Guatemala (325 kms approx.), lunch and then visit to the park, church and free walk through the town. Free night to enjoy the surroundings.

The next day we will visit the city of Antigua which has a large number of ruins and restored colonial buildings that constitute a fraction of the splendorous colonial architecture of the city, the museums contain a large collection of religious art, sculptures, furniture and murals detailing colonial life.
Everything seems to have stopped in time. You can walk the cobblestone streets while discovering the intricate details of the different structures.

On the last day we will transfer to the departure point, to arrive three hours before the departure of the international flight, transfer to the International Airport.
