On the first day you will be transferred from Comalapa International Airport to the city of San Salvador, approximately 39 Kms away and 35 minutes drive. Upon arrival at the hotel, a representative of our company will welcome you Optional - Night Tour night tour of the main streets and monuments of San Salvador.
The next day you will visit 4 archaeological sites: "Joya de Ceren", declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO, also called "The Pompeii of America". Afterwards visit to the "Ruins of San Andres" and then transfer to the brown city of Santa Ana where you will have lunch. After lunch, panoramic view of the center of Santa Ana with its Gothic style Church and the Theater of the city, a true jewel. Afterwards, visit to the "Ruinas del Tazumal" and "Casablanca" site, where you will appreciate a demonstration of indigo fabric dyeing, just as the Salvadoran ancestors used to do it. Overnight in San Salvador.
On the third day, departure after breakfast for a Panoramic Tour of the city of San Salvador, where you will appreciate the Historic Center: the Cathedral of San Salvador, the National Palace and the National Theater. At noon, after lunch, transfer to Copán, Honduras (3:30 hours from San Salvador). Free evening to enjoy the surroundings. Overnight in Copán.
The next day, after breakfast, visit the Archaeological Site of Copán, where you can climb the ruins, explore the site and visit the Archaeological Museum.
On the fifth day, after breakfast we move to visit the Museum of Copán and Casa Kinich. Then return to San Salvador. Free evening to enjoy the surroundings.
The next day we will see a panoramic view of the city of El Salvador and there will be time for final shopping before returning to the airport.
