Corcovado National Park is the most visited place in the area. It is home to more than 140 species of mammals, 120 species of reptiles, 6,000 species of insects and more than 400 types of birds. Additionally, in this spectacular park there are 500 species of trees and 150 species of orchids. That's why National Geographic magazine called it the most biologically intense place on Earth.
