Costa Rica offers a unique white water rafting experience, as well as fascinating canopy tours over the treetops. Now you can enjoy both activities in an extraordinary combo of adventure, while discovering the wonders of Sarapiqui; a territory located in the northeastern part of the country, with abundant rivers of crystalline waters, tropical forests and industrious and friendly people who inhabit and beautify the place.
Leaving San José, the Tour will take you through the majestic scenery of Braulio Carrillo National Park. Arriving in Sarapiqui, you will enjoy two attractions: the Canopy Tour in the middle of the forest with tall trees, and, after lunch, you will live the experience of navigating the rapids of the Sarapiqui River.
The Canopy Tour lasts about an hour and a half. It has 9 cables of different lengths along the forest, with the last of these cables crossing the Sarapiqui River.
The navigation through the rapids has different levels between classes II and III. Nine miles of rapids in combination with calm and relaxing intervals, makes this sport an unforgettable experience for adrenaline and nature lovers.
It is recommended to wear long pants for the canopy tour and shorts, swimsuit and tennis shoes or rubber-soled sandals for the rafting.
