The experience begins early with a transfer from Manuel Antonio to the Sierpe pier, where you’ll board the boat bound for Isla del Caño. During the boat ride, you’ll enjoy the scenery of the South Pacific and observe the region’s natural wealth.
Located off the Osa Peninsula, the Isla del Caño Biological Reserve is renowned for its coral reefs and marine biodiversity. During the tour, you’ll go on two snorkeling sessions at different spots within the protected area, with the chance to observe tropical fish, sea turtles, stingrays, and other marine species in their natural habitat.
Depending on the day’s conditions, you may also visit the island’s lookout point and enjoy a picnic lunch on nearby beaches.
Access to the reserve is regulated by SINAC and is only permitted through authorized tours, in order to protect its marine ecosystems and natural heritage.
