Complete tour of El Salvador

This trip selects the most important tourist attractions of the country to enjoy culture, nature and history in nine intense and fun-filled days. A complete experience for a unique country.

The first day we take you to discover world heritage sites, volcanoes, city, walk on the handicraft market, you will see the abundance of flowers on your tour and finish relaxing on the beach.

The next day, visit the main streets and monuments of San Salvador, the Historic Center: The Cathedral of San Salvador, The National Palace and the National Theater, and the Museum of Anthropology.
Then, visit the park Los Planes de Renderos (here you can taste the famous Salvadoran PUPUSAS), the Devil's Gate and the village of Panchimalco, where we will visit the church of La Santa Cruz of colonial style, the Gallery of Michelangelo, Salvadoran who captured the features and characteristic innocence of the locals and captured them on canvas (Optional Disco tour: visit the area of bars and nightclubs in San Salvador: Multiplaza and Zona Rosa). Overnight in San Salvador.

On the third day we will head to the imposing volcano of San Salvador, to the crater better known as Boqueron. We will enjoy a refreshing ecotourism hike through its natural trails. Afterwards, we will pass by the Black Sea, a field covered by lava, now volcanic rock, expelled by the Boqueron. Later, transfer to the Pompeii of America, the archaeological site Joya de Cerén, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1993. The explosion allowed to preserve the remains of the pre-Hispanic civilization for hundreds of years. Then visit to the "Ruins of San Andres". Then transfer to the beach hotel in Costa del Sol or El Sunzal. Enjoy a refreshing swim in the beautiful Salvadoran beaches while enjoying the wind of the Pacific coast.

The next day, transfer to the Lakes and Volcanoes Complex and visit Cerro Verde.
Cerro Verde is a natural reserve and is an inactive volcano located at an altitude of 2,035 MSNM and length of 500 hectares, has a cloud forest inside and around its crater with a temperature ranging between 12 and 18 degrees Celsius. Panoramic view of the "Izalco Volcano", better known as the lighthouse of the Pacific and the Ilamatepec Volcano. Then, transfer to the volcanic lake "Coatepeque", ranked among the most beautiful in the world where you can enjoy a boat ride around the lake.

On the fifth day, after breakfast, departure to "La Ruta de las Flores". Tour through the colonial towns with beautiful mountain vegetation: Juayúa, Nahuizalco, Apaneca and Ataco. Guided city tour through the local communities.
Lunch in Apaneca and visit to the picturesque town of Ataco to see artisans handling old local looms, observe the elaboration of local handicrafts and do some shopping. The route of Las Flores, one of the most popular tourist destinations and named for its abundance of flowers on the picturesque road. It is the coffee growing area par excellence where coffee of the highest quality is grown and exported all over the world. Return to San Salvador.

The next day, after breakfast, transfer to the beautiful city of "Suchitoto", "Place of Birds and Flowers", its name in Nahuat. Suchitoto offers an essence of an old city with colonial architecture. Visit its beautiful cobblestone streets, the Art Galleries, the Theater of the Ruins, the House of Crafts and the Santa Lucia Church, built in 1853, one of the main attractions of the city for its structure and historical importance. Afterwards, visit Suchitlán Lake and boat ride. Return to San Salvador.

On the seventh day, after breakfast and departure from the hotel, visit the national handicrafts market of El Salvador to make the last purchases of the trip. Then, transfer to the hotel in Costa del Sol or Sunzal beach. Enjoy a refreshing swim in the beautiful Salvadoran beaches or delight yourself with an exquisite Salvadoran cocktail while enjoying the wind of the Pacific coast.

The next day will be free to relax and enjoy the beach and the Salvadoran sea.

On day nine, three hours before departure of the international flight, transfer is included to the Comalapa International Airport in El Salvador, where the trip ends.
