Visit the city of San Salvador, the country’s volcanoes, Lake Coatepeque (one of the 10 most beautiful in the world), various archaeological sites, and El Salvador’s famous “Ruta de las Flores”.

DAY 1 // AIRPORT‐ SAN SALVADOR

Te llevamos a descubrir sitios patrimonio de la humanidad, volcanes, ciudad, caminar sobre el mercado de artesanías , podrás ver la abundancia de flores en su recorrido y terminar relajado en la playa. Optional: Disco Tour ‐ visit the main bars and restaurants areas of San Salvador (5 hours)

DAY 2 // CITY TOUR

Visit the main avenues of the city, a journey through the history of El Salvador and the various monuments scattered throughout the capital. Visit the Historical Center: San Salvador Cathedral, the National Palace, the National Theatre of neoclassical architectural style which is reminiscent of the great European theaters and the Anthropological Museum (MUNA). Later, visit the town of Panchimalco, the Devil´s Door (La Puerta del Diablo) and the park, Los Planes de Renderos, and taste the famous Salvadorean PUPUSAS. Back to hotel in San Salvador.

DAY 3 //ARCHEOLOGICAL BOQUERÓN

After breakfast, transfer to the impressive San Salvador Volcano, the crater known as Boquerón (25 kms). Enjoy a refreshing eco-touristic walk through nature trails. We will then go to the Black Sea, an area covered by lava, and now, volcanic rock thrown out by el Boquerón.Later, we will transfer to the Pompeii of America, the archaeological site of Joya de Cerén which was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1993. Joya de Cerén was covered by the explosion of the Loma Caldera volcano.

This explosion allowed the remains of the pre‐Hispanic civilization to be kept for hundreds of years. Later, visit the Ruins de San Andrés, and enjoy a free lunch in the city of Santa Ana, as well as a panoramic tour of the historical center of the city, the Gothic Cathedral of Santa Ana, and the City Theater. Back to hotel in San Salvador.

DAY 4 // LAKE & VOLCANO TOUR

One of the most popular tours in El Salvador where you will see the most natural attributes of the country. This incredible tour is a sightseeing tour of the Izalco Volcano (approx. 79 kms), also known as the Lighthouse of the Pacific, the natural reserve of Cerro Verde, an inactive volcano located at an altitude of 2.035 meters above sea level, and the Ilamatepec Volcano (or Santa Ana Volcano), the highest volcano and most voluminous of the coastal range.

Later, visit the Volcanic Lake, Coatepeque, which is amongst the ten most beautiful lakes in the world. Optional: Enjoy a refreshing boat ride. Back to hotel in San Salvador.

DAY 5 // ROUTE OF THE FLOWERS

After breakfast, visit the Ruta de las Floras (Route of the Flowers) which is 90 kms. away, to visit the colonial style towns with beautiful mountainous vegetation: Juayúa, Nahuizalco, Apaneca, Ataco and Ahuachapán. You will be given a guided tour of the local communities and observe the display of local looms, handicrafts, and shops at the local traditional stores.

The Flowers Route is one of the most popular tourist paths and it is named for its abundance of flowers on the scenic road. It is in this area where you will find coffee plantations of the highest quality. Its coffee is exported all over the world. Back to San Salvador. Free evening to enjoy the surroundings.

DAY 6 // SUCHITOTO

After breakfast, departure to La Bermuda (60 kms), an archaeological site representing the first location of the Salvadoran capital of San Salvador. San Salvador was established here in 1528 while the Conquest was still in progress.This site is one of the best preserved Conquest‐period Spanish sites in the hemisphere. Later, visit Suchitoto (Place of the Birds and Flowers), in Nahuat.

Visit its cobbled stoned streets, the art galleries, the theatre, its markets, and the historic church of Santa Lucia constructed in 1853. Later, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Suchitlan. Return to San Salvador.

DAY 7 //HANDICRAFT MARKET - DAY AT THE BEACH

After breakfast, check out from hotel and visit the national market of handicrafts in El Salvador to do last minute shopping. Later, transfer to your beach hotel, either at the beach of Costa del Sol or Sunzal.

DAY 8 // DAY AT THE BEACH

Enjoy a relaxing time at the beach as you sip on an exquisite Salvadorian cocktail and bask in the sunshine and gentle breezes of the Pacific coast.

DAY 9 // DAY OF DEPARTURE

Three hours before your flight out of the country, you will be transferred to Comalapa International Airport.
