Definitely an adventure not to be missed. We leave the city and enter the mountains that surround our Central Valley, a scenery of spectacular vegetation and extensive coffee fields, ornamental plants and picturesque villages typical of Costa Rica.
As we ascend we will experience the climatic changes that we enjoy in our country.
This is a one-time experience, which consists of sliding from one platform to another, flying through the Canopy.
The tour takes place in the protected area of the Carpintera hills, composed of primary and secondary forest. In the canopy you will be able to admire a great diversity of plants and more than 187 species of birds, as well as a variety of mammals and exuberant flora.
The tour begins with a hike through the mountain for approximately 15 minutes by the Cerro La Carpintera, then we will arrive at the viewpoint where you will enjoy a panoramic view of the Central Valley, the Poas and Irazu volcanoes and the Tres Marias hill.
The canopy has 19 platforms, 13 cables, the longest of 450 meters, 2 rappel one of 40 meters and another of 10 meters, duration of the canopy tour 2'30 hours approx.
