This tour to Tortuguero combines a land tour with a boat ride through the famous canals of Tortuguero National Park, an area surrounded by tropical rainforest and accessible only by boat or plane.

The experience begins with a transfer from San José to the dock, where you’ll board the boat to navigate through natural canals surrounded by lush vegetation and abundant wildlife. During the tour, you’ll have the chance to spot tropical birds, monkeys, reptiles, and other species characteristic of Costa Rica’s Caribbean region.

In addition to the canal cruise, the tour includes a visit to the town of Tortuguero and the Green Turtle Conservation Center, an important organization dedicated to protecting the sea turtles that arrive in this region during the nesting season.

Tortuguero is internationally renowned for its natural wealth and for being one of Costa Rica’s most iconic ecotourism destinations.

Conditions and cancelation policy

1- You may reschedule your trip or get your money back only if the changes are made 7 days prior the start of your tour. If you decided to do so, price increases in services (if any when you reschedule) or fees for transferring money (to get your money back) will be charged.
2- Any changes or cancellations on tour reservations can be made either by phone ( + 506 83678245) or email.
3- If you cancel 6 days before the date of the tour you will pay a penalty of 5% of the price of the package for management costs.
4- If you cancel between 4 and 5 days before the date of arrival there is a 10% cancellation fee of the tour price.
5- If cancelled 3 days before the date of arrival there is a penalty of 100% of the total reservation.
6- f no-show or not on time for your tour, 100% of the prepaid price will also be charged.
